Hey guys my name is Ryan callsign "Hitman", I'm the XO for Blacksheep Milsim.  I`ve been playing national level Milsim games for 6 years.   I've been to every Blacksheep event and many Lion Claw events.  My team has been awarded "squad of the battle" and two of my shooters have been awarded "soldier of the battle".  At Blacksheep events, that is the award to strive for.  I live in Baltimore, Md (Murder capital of the USA) and work as a Federal Agent for the Department of Defense.  Unfortunately i can't tell you much more.   I also freelance as a Private Investigator for several insurance companies.  I am a certified NRA firearms instructor and teach private handgun and assault rifle lessons.  Airsoft is my hobby and Bravo company is my baby!  I understand you guys have been to Guernsey before.  I could really use your intel.  This event is projected to have over 500 shooters and Bravo is the elite team to be on.  Bravo doesn't lose!  We haven't lost since Operation Pine Plains 3, years and years ago.  My team is 5 Mikes Milsim.  A few of them will be attending this OP.  If you guys have any questions, concerns etc... I`m your guy!  I know there are a few issues with the early registration.  We are taking care of that now.  There is a glitch in the software.

Post by Topaz August 5th 2013, 14:36

Howdy! I'm Jenny,  I'm fairly new to airsoft, and I love it.  I unfortunately am an impulse buyer, and purchased my HK sl9 before ever playing...but I'm glad I did! I have too much fun with it.  I'm here to learn as much as I can, about all aspects of the game. I would love to learn about the mil-sim aspect, since I have never done anything remotely like this.

Outside of airsoft, I train and show horses,  and work as a vet tech, and enjoy every minute of it!
I can't wait to get to know everyone and to learn more!!

Hello,
Name is Todd, my twin brother Tyler and I are the captains of the Ground Zero Airsoft team.  We've been to a few OP's here and there and have been playing for a while.  Smile

Registering and saying hi as we'll most likely be working together at O:BS-Guernsey.  And hopefully many more OP's in the future.

Post by Arindur November 4th 2013, 21:21

Hey my name is Jonathan but I usually go by Jon. I work for a local landscape/forestry contractor full time. I like to wright and imagine worlds of vast adventure and beauty. I am borderline antisocial more often then not until I get to know you and then even more so when I get tired but I am a hard worker and a problem solver. I use a stock ICS SIG 552 (DE) as my primary and a H&K CO2 USP as my sidearm and tend to side with blood and glory tactics. I am currently going through a rough time in my life and am looking for my 'Band of Brothers' I hope to find it with you guys. Smile

Welcome Jon,
It is always good to see a new face on the forum. Please make youself comfortable with our rules, guidelines and policy so your application process can go smoothly. We have an event scheduled for this coming Sunday (10th) and would love to see you and any other applicants out at the field!
As to your rough time, I can relate and can say that the guys on this team are a 'Band of Brothers' indeed, I have always had a great support system through this team, even before I was fully accepted as a team member. If you are a good fit and prove to us you want to be a part of that, we will welcome you with open arms!
Hope to see you soon!

I will go over your rules and do my best to memorize them. As for the game on the tenth I am working a special contract this weekend and can't attend, however if I can get advanced notice events I can more often then not get time off. Will future events be posted on this forum or though Facebook?

Hello all, my names NEO. I'm not a Colorado native like most of you. I actually was born in raised in South Florida where I grew up playing in the swaps and the ocean. I've been here in Colorado since 1995. I currently live in Littleton. I'm a very athletic person. I have played competitive baseball all the way up through college. However now airsoft is my sport. I was previously a member of AFROTC. I've took every avenue to join the Airforce, however due to a couple medical issue was unable to join. So I live vicariously through airsoft.

I have activity playing airsoft now for about a year and learned a lot in the process. I currently run a couple load outs which include SAW Gunner CA M249 Para, DMR CA M14s EBR, CQB JG G36c. For outdoor wooldland play I normally run my EBR, but the SAW is a blast as well! I think that about wraps it up. And other questions feel free to comment or pm. Thanks guys!

Hi guys, my name's Jared. When I was about 13, my Dad picked up a few of those $20 spring action, 150fps chinese POS's at a gun show, but that started my enjoyment for the sport. I live in Golden/Lakewood, but I have family in Boulder, so I'm up there quite a bit. Definitely looking forward to a larger and more organized battlefield with more players!

Post by Cabooska June 16th 2014, 17:25

Hey all!

My name is Andrew aka Cabooska. I'm 26, live in Broomfield, and work as a programmer at a local game development company. I use to paintball regularly with few opportunities to play AS.. which is why I'm so excited to meet up and shoot with you guys! I prefer sniping, but not afraid to do a little CQB Smile

I've been reading up on the rules/guidelines. All I need is a walkie, so I hope to make it to this Saturday's event!

Thanks

Welcome Cabooska

I'm Matt aka RED.  It is always great to meet another airsofter and I am looking forward to seeing you this Saturday (assuming you are a team applicant) or soon after.  Considering you probably have never driven up to the field our next event will be at you might want to follow up some of our guys when they are headed up.  Once again looking forward to meeting you.

Looking back at this my old intro is well outdated. I'm currently 19 and an active duty marine with 1 battalion 1 marines Charlie company weapons platoon. I am an 0351 infantry assaultman. I have been playing Airsoft for a long time starting out with little walmart springers. I have been to operation throwdown 1 and 2 as well as countless weekend skirmishes. I was the team captain of team WOLF (later changed to CCA) until the team disbanded.

Introductions - Page 5 Empty New to MilSim Community

Post by McDonald-K-WY July 17th 2014, 21:37

Hey everyone, I'm Josh McDonald, Squad Leader of Kodiak out of Casper, Wyoming, invited to the community by Chris after meeting him in the Blacksheep Pathfinder Event in Guernsey. I would like to say my team was thoroughly impressed by the humility, helpfulness and sportsmanship from Boulder Brigade and were eager and pleased to say they will be with us again at Blacksheep in Guernsey.

Some background info, I am a Contract Firefighter/A-EMT at Evansville Emergency Services and a Program Leader at the Paradise Valley Boys and Girls Club. My interest in tactics came from a lineage of military service, currently having three brothers and one sister in the Marine Corps. I tried to join both the Marines and the Navy but was turned down because of medical reasons; I have pretty much no rotator cuff in my left arm due to HS football. I found interest in the Fire Service a year after being cut by the MEPS-D [Military Enlistment Processing Station, Denver]. I continue to airsoft with a group of guys who played backyard in HS, Blacksheep was our first step into MilSim and it is a great outlet since I am incapable of Military Service. I was impressed by the community, the teams and the individuals that drive the sport and am eager to progress farther into it with my team for years to come.

Thank you for the invitation Chris, I cant wait to fight along side yall in Guernsey again!

Great to have you aboard, you should have access to our internal Guernsey planning section at this point. Feel free to participate there, and watch for more postings. We will be having a logistics and planning meeting in August which we plan to record for others.

Introductions - Page 5 Empty Howdy folks!

Post by Rainman May 1st 2015, 18:39

Hi everyone,

It was great to meet some of you at last week's practice, and I look forward to meeting the rest soon.

As a quick background, I've played airsoft off and on since about 2001-- mostly casual backyard games, but also a stint with my college team. I moved to Colorado from Georgia just over a year ago, and I work for Thule as a product designer. I'm a big outdoors guy, which is the main reason I wanted to come to Colorado. I'm into mountain biking, snowboarding, camping, shooting... all the good stuff. I'm an eagle scout-- I'm big on self sufficiency and leadership. This is a big reason I'm drawn to the milsim side of airsoft. That, and I like gear and guns!

I recently felt the urge to get back into a team sport and I decided to ask google if there were any airsoft teams in the area, and voila. Here I am! I'm looking forward to meeting all of you and (if i make the team) learning a lot and having some great times!

Best,
-Daniel (call-sign TBD... this is a big decision)
