Re: Introductions
Welcome to the forum, Wyatt. I'm glad to see another face at our games. It was a very interesting day at Dragon Man's this last Sunday, but still fun in its own right.
We appreciate your eagerness to come to more of our events and skirmishes, and I can't wait to see you on the field again!

Looking forward to playing
Hello all,
My wife and I recently moved to Boulder from Southern California and I've been looking for some local airsoft action. I have an AEG running at about 320 fps with .20's right now. Thinking about upgrading the spring so I'll be a little more competitive for large field play, which is what it looks like most of the stuff here is. I'm aiming to upgrade into the ~420 fps range with .20's. Does that sound like a good idea for the play style here, or is there a decent amount of close quarters stuff and I should hold off? Last thing I want is to be shooting hot and hurt someone in a fairly close engagement.
Really looking forward to meeting you all in the future and getting into playing again. It's been about a year since I've played and my gear looks so lonely sitting in the garage

Re: Introductions
Always good to see a new face on our forum, welcome! Most of our events are in the national forest area outside of Boulder and would probably be considered large field play. If you look through all of our rules and regulations on our website (www.boulderairsoft.com) you can find everything you need to know to play with us, as well as upcoming events. Also, don't hesitate to post up questions on the forum, we have many well versed airsofters at your disposal. Thanks for posting and I'm looking forward to meeting you on the field!

Re: Introductions
I was wondering is there a carpool system? as I live in boulder (current CU strudent) and I sold my car since I live so close to campus which means I have no personal transportation to the events/ games. I just want to know because I am thinking of sending my armory up to colorado in the coming week.

Re: Introductions
Also take a look on the Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/317915661622372/
Typically only about 1/3 of people going actually RSVP, but its still a good way to get in contact with players to arrange carpooling, etc.

Due to where most of our events take place we drive through Boulder on our way to most events. Posting on the game thread or on Facebook event would be the best ways to get a ride.
