Do you know where your Shim's are?
I recently discovered just how important a good shim job is. The Cybergun/CYMA AK I have been using halfway crapped out on me at the July 1 pickup game. It started making a buzzing/hissing noise when I depressed the trigger, after tearing down and cleaning the gearbox up and seemingly fixing the problem, it reappeared in the middle if testing to be sure it was in fact remedied. Today I took it apart again, and after some close detailed inspection I noticed how outrageously huge the play in the gears was and took an hour to be sure the gears all played nice together in the box. It now runs like a champ again, and I hope it stays that way for a good long while.
On a side note, the gearbox is CM.02(something)B stamped, leading me to believe that it is a CYMA Ver.2 gearbox. Kind of a fun side note to me, since AK's usually have a Ver.3 gearbox.

We have some pics up, but yeah it wasn't anything special. We can discuss the location on Saturday, but I'll just say to make sure you have your tetanus shot if you're planning to play there.
