Best AEG Platform
Not asking what you personally use, but what do you think is the best AEG platform and why?
G36
I voted for the good ole' G36, I use it and let me tell you why. Number one for me is the body style is really cool in my opinion (what airsoft is partly about lol) They make numerous replacement and upgrade parts for them. Rails all over the gun (depending on model you could have more). Your magazines clamp together to save on pouch space and for quick re-loads. Magazines aren't too expensive and if you think they are you can even get an M4 magwell adapter and run with m4/m16 magazines on your gun (easy process too so you could do it in the midst of battle). I personally have never had a problem with mine and the mags shoot flawlesly for me and everyone I have talked to who has one says the flow of bbs in to the gun is smoother than anything else. Just my opinion!

Re: Best AEG Platform
ACR... The name says it all. I can remove the spring from the gearbox without taking apart the gearbox which means I simply keep an m90 spring handy along with other springs up to m120 and I can change the FPS of the gun to meet whatever need arises. I can also change the outer barrel which has the inner barrel and hop up built-in to the same unit. So I can use a 6.03 shorter barrel for my CQB or field setup with full auto ability or add a 6.01 longer barrel and with the simple addition of a mosfet (to limit firing selection to semi only) I now have a DMR. The cost to buy build and customize three guns would be far more than the seemingly high cost of the ACR. Did I mention that this gun co-produced by Magpul accepts all Magpul add ons, is ambidextrous and if you change out the receiver can accept AK mags.
