does anyone know how to take the baseplate off of the Magpul PTS Pmag/Emag?

If it is the genuine Magpul PTS 120 Round mag, yes, I can give you full break down instructions.

If it is the cheaper 75/80 round (green box) mag's, or King Arms look alike, I do not believe those come apart.

Not a problem. You may be able to take them apart with a hammer, but have duct tape handy for reassembly.
