Airborne drop gone FUBAR Empty Airborne drop gone FUBAR

I can't say that I came up with this all on my own, but I wanted to try my hand at creating a scenario, and see if it gets a good response.

So,

FUBAR Drop consists of 25% of the daily attendees at a skirmish day. They are to be blindfolded ( this has been thoroughly planned, very little chance of injury) and led to their DZ, where after their escorts have vacated, will be radioed to remove their blindfolds. The airborne leader will receive a map containing objectives and their locations. It is POSSIBLE/LIKELY that there will be either a bad location, bad intel on the location, extra objective(s) that are NOT actually there, or mislocated objectives.

The other remaining forces will be divided up, and given tasks of seek/destroy the airborne team, hold an objective, or diversionary tactics.

Airborne will have 90 minutes to accomplish all or a percentage of their tasks. Airborne wins by achieving mission objectives, while OPFOR will win by keeping Airborne from accomplishing them or kill the Airborne team to the last man.

Medics/K.I.A. will be used for Airborne. Airborne may also hike back to DZ for respawn. OPFOR will have UNLIMITED respawns, but will be REQUIRED to hike back to base, wait 2 minutes, and head back in.

OPFOR will NOT be allowed to camp the DZ, any campers, or enemy forces found inside the DZ will be immediately marked as "dead" and required to hike back to base for respawn. Airborne will have the same rule, no camping just outside base, you will be "killed". If any Airborne personnel are marked with K.I., the A will, I repeat, WILL count, and you will be removed from play.

2 Moderators are required for this scenario, and will be WELL MARKED. Personnel caught firing on Moderators will be removed from play for the entire scenario. Moderators are NOT armed, and rules of engagement for this scenario require your target to be armed. Speaking of ROE:

Rules of Engagement:

1. BCA rules in effect.
2. Targets MUST be armed, or visually confirmed to be carrying anything designated as a weapon. This includes, AEGs, support weapons, shotguns, pistols, sniper rifles, grenades, knives, and tomahawks. If you are caught firing on an unarmed target, you will be marked as the "dead" party. If it is confirmed that the "unarmed" party is indeed carrying a weapon, they will be counted "dead".
3. DO NOT FIRE ON MODERATORS! Firing on a clearly marked Moderator results in immediate removal from the scenario.
4. Have a great time!

I really like this one, lots of thought and planning went in to it and you can tell. Sounds like a good time and I would be more than happy to try it sometime!

I really like the premise of this.

The problem I see is that I'm thinking this could be difficult to lead 10 or so blindfolded people through the forest to a far away start point. This is something we would have to practice with each other to figure out the best way of leading someone who can't see.

I can say its difficult enough to walk, climb, etc with night vision because there is no depth perception, but I'm willing to be a blindfolded guinea pig.

We can orange stripe the moderators. That seems to make them pretty visible.

Perhaps the Visual zone should only allow vision straight down for the paratroopers and those leading them will simply guide them around branches to their specified drop zone.
Ha! I'm picturing armed men leading others wearing lamp shades through the woods.

We can even throw in a little spin around to keep them guessing Arrow
