RULE CHANGE - EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
Boulder Airsoft will now be REQUIRING a radio be in possession of every attending player, no exceptions will be made.
Requirements:
GMRS / FRS band radio (with working batteries)
Subchannel capable
This change is made in the interest of your safety as our events are rapidly growing in size and we are expanding the areas of operation to accomodate these larger numbers. We do not wish to have incidents of members becoming lost in the woods with no means of communication or calling for help.
Boulder Airsoft will be purchasing several additional rental radios which will be available for rental at our events. Most GMRS/FRS brand radios are available for retail purchase for a relatively low price.
If you need assistance in learning how to operate your radio, such as utilizing subchannel features, disabling VOX, etc, please contact a Boulder Brigade member during an event and we will be happy to help you and teach you. Some radios can be tricky and we know this, but are always here to help everyone.
We realize this change is an inconvience for some members, however this is in the interest of safety for everyone.
