I love finding left over parts after I put things back together.....

Post by Tango on May 23rd 2011, 21:54

So, I took apart my UHC Spring revolver apart, fixed the piston, reconditioned the spring, cleaned it up, gave it a full tune up, put it back together and found this tiny little spring on my desk. I gave the revolver a test run, runs a lot better then it did, but I can't figure out what this silly little spring did. Any one else ever have similar stories of errant parts, or teardowns that went badly? Feel free to share.

at least yours are ending up on the table. I've left loose shims inside a gearbox before....lets just say it wasn't a pretty cleanup.

Or better yet, when you've spent an hour trying to get your gun back together only to realize you forgot the one magic piece that makes the whole thing work and you have to tear it down and start all over

That was interesting getting it in there, and one of the more interesting hop wheels I've ever seen. Once you get back, lets tear it down and get everything in there perfect. We can remove the connector box, install a resistor, and it should all fit together much better.
