Inner Barrel Recommendations Empty Inner Barrel Recommendations

Ok, as some of you know, I just acquired a brand-spanking new M14 DMR. I am soliciting advice for a great 6.03mm inner barrel at 550mm length. Any thoughts? Please give me your opinions as well as your reasons. Just a brand will not be as useful. Give me what you have!

Thanks in advance. : )

Prometheus and EDGI make the best barrels, hands down. They can be hard to come by though, so start looking now

Here is a link for a Prometheus: http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_72_378&products_id=24391

I have never used either of those brands but have heard good things.

I have used Angel custom, which are good and strong, very smooth internally.

I have also used Madbull (the aircraft aluminum type) and they are extremely light weight, smooth, and solid.

Go for the Prometheus. My dad has one in his G&G, it's fantastic!

Tanner should have the original inner barrel - why not try that first? Also, the M14 was supposed to be delivered shooting 450fps. I think Tanner would get it working at no extra charge.
